Hello again….

It’s been a while since my last blog, but let’s pick up from where we left off…

If you have been reading this blog from the start then you should be able to easily build your own web site then connect it to google.

lets dive into google and their services and how it effect’s your website ranking and website impressions on the net and what I had to do to rank high on google search engine.( my web site ranked very well on yahoo, ask, bing, msn as well)

But was the best one on google…

Let’s start by explaining few things…

The Joomla CMS can be installed locally on your computer on a local server xampp or wamp.

(If you don’t have a domain)

Or it can be installed directly from the hosting service provider on CPanel if you had a domain purchased and linked to your hosting service for your website as I had done)

Personal choice.. really..

* I found it more appropriate to get the work done on the Cpanel provided by the hosting provider as everything needed was installed ,secured and updated regularly.

*domains also can be purchased from google domains as well.

Google has so many services that will help you present and track your web site on the internet.

you can have full control and access to google search console, analytics and advertising.

But first the website domain needs to be verified through google search console and that’s through a code provided by google search console which has be added into the website domain DNS records on the Cpanel hosting service for the domain.

Once the domain is verified then that means the domain is linked to google search console and you will be able to see it in google search console as a property.

Now I needed to upload the index.html for my website to google to allow google to start indexing and crawling the website.

Google search console will help identify the indexed pages in your website and point out if there is any errors.and help crawl the website to also identify how many pages and links are within the website.

I also used a great website to upload my index.html file to google and other search engines it’s called attracta SEO support. I have used their free service for years and I got some of my articles written by them for a small fee as well back then. (Ai wasn’t out yet…lol..)..

Google analytics now is totally different but yet it’s another piece of the puzzle which you need in order to get your worksite working and ranking on Google in order to track measure and tune your website SEO and services for peak performance..

Through that you also will be able to know exactly where your website is being viewed, which articles or services has been viewed , how long did the particular item being viewed, what keywords was used in order to get that particular item viewed…

It takes some time to get used to it at the start but it comes very handy in order to improve the SEO of the website and target the audience required for your business..

In this part of the blog I like to point

out that Google has something called (business profile) and it’s FREE for everyone who got a Google account so you can also add your products and services and it also has many other handy features which help identify you website and business.…

….check it out.. its great to have this google business profile as a front end feature for your website and business.. and helps people get an idea about what the business or/and the website is about..

Even if you don’t have a website….!! You still can have a google business profile for free to use and advertise for your services and products ….I highly recommend having one …

Now back to google services and in particular google analytics and what it dose and how to to combine that with google advertising..

Now we have Apps for google analytics and google ads you can download and it makes life a lot easier.
